Here is what happened

Pretty flower
who the sun grows fonder
just by looking at her
for a minute of an hour

in all of my labour
I worked hardest on her
watering her so she would grow

The timbers
who watched her all brought her
fresh breeze for the summer
shade from spring
berries of red and orange as autumn colours
would bring

She is as majestic as a snowy swan
her feathers though ruffled showed regal
and grace
much more is said for her mona lisa face
which now I tell you is where sorrow takes place…

The curvasive streams of golden brown hair
asian based
locked upon her lightly olive skin

I saw her today
and I thought ‘ What harm if I confront her now?’
still doubt renewed
while she chatted on her phone
while her hair blew like needles through a thimble
her smiles could nibble parts of my soul

I put a hand upon her arm
and heat bethrothed me
like a swarm of bees
I felt emotionally warm

For days I harvest a secret from her
today I will tell her
and let loose my anxiety
it’s getting as thick as leather

I didn’t a peep
she told me to be
and then progressively
ignored me

It came to conclusion
my tries were futile
as her excuses were as long
as her call on her mobile

It was when she cried
because a problem arose
and I tried to console her
I barely got her to take my tissue
but dear God my attraction on her
must be her lethal issue!

She barked :
“Be gone with you,
Vagrant fool!
You annoy me too much as it already is!
GET LOST! right now!

It was then I felt a feeling I haven’t since long had angels gone missing
in heaven.

Mock interview article.

Petaling Jaya:

Well there certainly was a feeling of anticipation in KDU College today for mass comm students who were in Rubin’s class.

Gathered this morning in a classroom they were waiting for a TV 3 news reporter for a mock interview. For those who tune into to the midnight news, Nightline
will know who Praevitriana Yuliawiratman is, a
newscaster for TV 3.

Triana wowed the crowd as she told the mass
comm. students that she was only in her early
thirties.Although she was not as tall as some of the
students in the class her accomplishments surpasses
her size ten fold. One would also never assume that
she would be a mother of a two year-old boy. For such
a petite figure one would seem to feel that she needed
to be held with care like a fragile box of breakable
glass. Truth be told she isn’t as fragile as glass nor
is she frail. She impresses the class further by
saying that she has done many television programmes
that involve business apart from her career in news reporting . Although she is a person of confidence, when she entered the classroom she had not
expected so many students to sit waiting eagerly to
meet and ask her questions about her job and
experiences. The humble but quiet news reporter
patiently answers each student one by one. She
politely laughs at certain questions where it involved
inquiries about whether she would change jobs if given
the chance.

It’s tough being a news reporter and mom at the same time. Despite her duties, which require a lot of attention and moving about, this does not stop her
from spending quality time with her child. She does
her jobs at night, which is about midnight when people
are, all cuddled in bed ,sitting in the living room
couch sipping tea or spending time with the family. It
seems as though she is some sort of super hero, news
reporter by night and mom by day. Now that’s one
family oriented woman. Aside from all the hustle and
bustle about in her daily routine, when she finds the
time to sit back and relax she likes nothing better
than to take her son out, window shopping, and
reading. She told the class rather sheepishly that if
she were to do another job it would have involved
being in a bookstore. It was very appropriate, as she
loves to read. Come what may she was comfortable with what she was doing. Mischievously she replies a
student that she wouldn’t mind “working for CNN or
BBC..” if given the chance to do so. She reports for
Bulletin Utama as well aside from Nightline. After
discovering that she covers these two news slots some
spoke about wanting to catch her on TV to see how she
presented. Rubin has told us that she is confident
and comfortable when she is in front of the camera.
Even if she sometimes prefer to produce instead of
being the presenter. “It’s a lot fun to produce
programs because it is more challenging.” In which in
addition her credibility pursues her to have hosted
business programmes like Money Matters, which is now being replaced with ‘ The Exchange.’

Although she has accomplished much, just like life
she faces problems just like any one else. She recalls
a time when she was doing a live crossover on TV and
did not realise she was on cue, or when she had to
interview a mother and instead spoke to someone else
because the guest had not made it. If that was all
think again, she has to interview people as well. “
The hardest part of interviewing people is the way
they answer. I remember when I had to ask this guest
in ‘Money Matters’ and I would get is ‘ maybe, yes or
no’s. She smiled and added that she had to keep
prompting the man to elaborate on his respond. In any
industry it is always wise to have good relationships
with the people inside the office.

Her education started off in Bukit Bintang girl
school, she took mass communications and graduated
from the University of Missouri USA. She has had the
opportunity of working with the likes of Kelvin Ong,
Suhaimi, Zalina Azman and Tengku Elida Bustaman who are well known news anchors of TV 3 a local Malaysian channel. She said that she has learned a lot from them. “I prefer to read in English than Malay”. She advices budding journalists “Always bring a dictionary whenever you go to the studio.” When asked why, she replied, “ You’ll never know when you have trouble pronouncing a particular word. Sometimes when you think you know how to say it, it’s wrong and you have to look it up to say it properly.”

There were no surprises here when she mentioned that she was a senior in the newsroom. Something the charming news reporter mentioned reminded a student of a Lat cartoon strip about a man who came into the newsroom wearing a sarong but wore a shirt and tie as a top attire. He sat on the desk and started to report his news. This was later proved true when Triana mentioned that most news host would come in what they wore but changed their tops because once they sat no one would be able to see if they were wearing khaki pants, shorts or Malay attire. “Some women news casters come in wearing ‘ baju Melayu’ and some would wear jeans. This was how it was, people come in with what they wear.” The dresser, Triana says does not let new comers walk all over them. But he gives way to the seniors when it comes to wardrobe selections.

Needless to say she advised students who were
interested in journalism that experience mattered as
well as qualifications. She also said ” that appearance
is a gamble when applying for the job , because if the
boss doesn’t like you then no matter how good you are,you still won’t get the job.” Not bad for the life of
a journalist. Though it is a challenging job, no doubt
she will remain strong and passionate about her job,
delivering news to people at her best.

new stuff.

oh boy where to start? Hm. Okay .Lisa is being plain mean. and Jade thinks I should have confronted her by now. Lol. I should just kick Lisa off a cliff and date Jade. yes. that’s a good idea. lol. I recall something she said”I don’t care how you are, but I love you.” Which is so sweet. I have been up to the walls with doing assignments. Finals are approaching and I have visually lost my head. God will guide me to the right path eventually. In terms of college work of course and life. Hopefully while He is at it, He can help me get a new girlfriend too. Uh. I’d date Jade, but she’s still so far away! Come here Jade! Lol.

You would never believe it but that cheap woman Cole broke up with her girlfriend and expects me to comfort her? She wishes! After ruining my college education before you’d think I’d let her again? NO WAY! phuck you ho! She can go be glum on her own. She ruined my life once already ..actually twice. So yeah. I’m a lot smarter and wiser now. With God’s guidance, I will eventually figure life out and possibly with His wisdom and grace I will get to where I want to be. I am quite content with my college life. But the assignments are just stressing me out. Group members aren’t doing nuts. I am going to do it on my own if they don’t show me progress by tomorrow or Wednesday. I have to put my foot down and show them who’s boss, eventually.Well, I am feeling rather hurt. But this will pass. It has something to do with how Lisa was being such a meanie to me, like ignoring me on purpose! Geez , like if you’re saying in my face “I don’t hate you. why should I hate you?” then at least pretend like you mean it. Sheesh. Jade’s right. Well If I do see her I’ll tell her and get it over with. In a few weeks time I’ll look at this and laugh. Yes, I heal faster now. Huzzah for me. Hope all goes well for all of you as I hope for myself too.God bless.

Hoo hoo!

Hey guys, it’s a new day and I’m up and about. I am currently in the ‘house’ for now because I finished my morning class two hours ago. I feel relaxed today. Hey the hotel management, catering and tourism had a little “free semi buffet” thing today at a mock restaurant they have in the cafeteria. I must say I regretted for not trying the sandwiches but I have to say those guys improved a hell lot. Great job guys! I am not doing much at the moment, just enjoying the quiet and all. Well we have a little mock conference next week in class, we’re gonna interview an ex newscast/producer feller. *shrugs* Anyhoo, I’m feeling good, if not in need of a shower. I am so relaxed this sem but I swear I am still worried about my studies. It’s a thing. But I am not as worried as I was in my first sem. It kinda chilled in the 2nd and froze on the third..or not so much so. I could have sworn I saw Lisa today. Okay one part of me says “BITCH” and “GO AWAY now” and then “Stupid Stupid stupid. Why did you even bother about her at all?!” Then it’s back to emo again. Yay emo.

Anyways, I have another class later on at 4 so yeah. Things are alright today. I love quiet. The ride to school this morning wasn’t too smooth, my mother’s car bumped another person’s. Her car wasn’t too bad but my mom’s was. The frickin’ fella didn’t even had the decency to overlook it. Goes to show you how many Good Samaritans we have today. We do have our good share but hey what’s one more right? Noooo she’s just plain selfish is what she is. Good news is the insurance will handle the repair so no money damage, internally -housewise anyway. So yeah. Uh..I want to do something fun but I don’t know what yet.Like a movie or something. I so totally am itching to get a gameboy advance. sniff. I am also totally slacking off my “part time job” hunt. I should do something about that soon. perhaps decide soon. lol. Phil Collins rock!

I saw Madonna’s 80’s music videos and boy is she hot. I love the dyke hair style she had in both the videos I saw.
“Who’s that girl” and something else..I forgot the other title. Ahh those good old days when I was a small kindergarten kid. Toys r us and stuff. Lol. Nothing to worry about. Sigh. Well everything has its goods and bads. I suppose I should leave all this to God. He has been guiding me so far so yeah. Anyways. Visit Phillip’s blog if you are around the neighbourhood!

Well, a lot has happened. College is alright. I’m quite content. But I cannot begin to express how frustrated I am. I saw Lisa yesterday and had not said a word. She was waving at me, at that moment I wished with all my might that she was mine. Alas. Sweet love is bitter. Well I definitely wasted my time over at my cousin’s place. He showed me his trampoline. Which was fun actually. But his grandparents are spoilsports they did not welcome me. I got two words for them. I won’t say it to you of course! Wouldn’t you know it..I was sexually harrassed by my cousin’s maid. Bitch. She does that again and I’ll slice her bitch-like arm off. She’ll rue the day if she harrasses me again. I won’t want to go over to my cousin’s house again. Not without purpose anyways. They are great but his grandparents don’t want him to have fun. Go figure.

Aside from all this I am fine. Chinese new year this year is no hoot for me. It’s alright. I saw a lion dance performance in college. It annoyed me that my best class mates found it noisy and needless. Lion dances are awesome! They bring good luck and they are very hard to master. I miss those days when I was a kid and my folks would have one come to our real home. My happier days was being a small five year old kid. my kindergarten days. I did not have a happy school life. I have a good college life now. I had a good job before I enrolled into tertiary education. But I am happy nonetheless in my present college now. I didn’t have REAL school friends anyway. Apart from making amends with a friend who’s now doing a journalistic job right now, I didn’t like my secondary school at all. What with people being two-faced and shit. I figured. I’d give them the finger when I make it out there. They’re not worth my time.

The news is even saddening. There’s a riot about this caricature they made of the muslim religious icon. Which is beyond rude and stupid, it’s unethical and beyond intelligence. It’s outright rude to make fun of people’s religious figure Idiots. I hope those people who were responsible for the caricature get the punishment they deserve. Truth be told, a guy was interviewed in BBC and I agree with him that people should be civil about things and talk things through instead of reacting like those heathen-so-called-cartoonists.Honestly I don’t like what they did. It’s wrong.
